BILINGUAL PROGRAM PROJECT SPECIALIST I
ACP is administered by the Secretary of State’s office with the non-appropriated funding source references in A.R.S. 12-116.04. In addition, the ACP receives grant monies to fund certain positions. This newly created position is solely a grant funded position.
The ACP Program Project Specialist I duties consist of processing statutorily mandated activities such as the application review process, process and forward mail to participants on a bi-daily basis, providing information and problem solving with program participants, provide outreach and education, working closely with the director on trends, challenges, and successes. Also may provide training and support to state, federal, county, or city public entities to ensure awareness of Title 12 and Title 41 as to not endanger participants, which is a violation of A.R.S. 41-155 and a class 1 misdemeanor. This position is a grant funded position to assist director and coordinator on activities related to ensuring participants right to vote, right to access certain benefits from government agencies while a participant in the program.
