Shelter Crisis Line Advocate $15.00/hr.
Under the supervision of the Crisis Shelter Services Coordinator provides safety, support, and resources for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and human trafficking. Engages with participants in one-on-one advocacy and support and assists participants in identifying and addressing individualized needs. Provides daily support with answering and responding to crisis calls, and monitoring security cameras.
On-Call Shelter Advocate $15.00/hr.
Provides safety, support, and resources for individuals and families through the intake process and by supporting the Lead Case Manager within the framework of a variety programs. Focuses on addressing trauma related to domestic violence and human trafficking. Engages with participants in one-on-one initial intake process and assists the Lead Case Managers by completing operational tasks such as faxing, mailing, completing and signing of releases of information, and being an emotional support for participants. Assists participants in identifying and addressing individualized needs by researching and offering resources, education, and collaborating with other agencies. This position is On-Call as needed.
Community Outreach Case Manager $18.00/hr.
Provides safety, support, and resources for individuals and families through case management within the framework of a variety programs and a focus on addressing trauma related to domestic violence. Engages with participants in one-on-one case management sessions, assisting community outreach participants in identifying and addressing individualized needs, offering resources and education.
On-Call Teacher $15.00/hr.
The On-Call Teacher works on an as needed basis in the Child Development Center and is responsible for ensuring the care, safety and well-being of all children in her/his assigned group. The On-Call Teacher assists Lead Teachers in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children. This position also develops partnerships
With parents accessing family support services and carries out the Sojourner Center mission.
Sojourner Center’s custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and overall first impression of the campus. This person understands that a clean, clutter-free, well-maintained campus provides a healing environment for survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault and sex trafficking. The custodian is responsible for creating and executing a cleaning schedule for all facilities.
On-Call Maintenance Technician $15.50 – $20.00/hr. DOE
Performs professional building maintenance tasks and repairs on all Sojourner Center campuses (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, general cleaning) under minimal supervision. Establishes and maintains working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties.
On-Call Food Service Worker $15.00/hr.
The Food Service Worker prepares and serves meals according to menu cycles, working as an on-call status as needed. Follows established methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning. Complies with all food handling policies and regulations.
Contracts Manager $50,000.00 Annually
The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all direct service contracts. This includes ensuring contract compliance, ensuring accurate and timely reports, and is the staff liaison for all government and private funders in partnership with Development, Quality Assurance and the Co-Directors. The Contracts Manager will be able to clearly understand and articulate program needs, services, outcomes and funding source priorities and requirements.
Pet Companion Shelter Coordinator $20/hr
Under the supervision of the Crisis Shelter Program manager, the Pet Companion Shelter (PCS) Program Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of day-to-day operations; staff skill development with regard to service delivery and adherence to agency policies and procedures; evaluation of the services offered and the needs of animals and participants; collaboration with other departments in the agency to coordinate services.
