Jacksons Food Stores Helps Fight Against Sexual and Domestic Violence In partnership with the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual & Domestic Violence, Jacksons Food Stores raises over $177,673.52 in six states

(Phoenix, AZ) – In the 14th anniversary year of the “Give the Gift of Peace” campaign, Jacksons Food Stores and its customers donated a total of $177,673.52 ($88,836.76 from customer donations and matched dollar for dollar by Jacksons) as part of the commitment to create more compassionate communities. Please join us for the press conference Monday, February 5th at 11 a.m. at the Jacksons store location at 3110 W. State St., Boise, ID 83703, where Jacksons will present the contribution check to the coalitions against domestic violence from Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah.

Since the inception of the campaign, over $1,300,000 has been raised in total. The campaign ran from November 22nd through Christmas Day. Jacksons sold paper doves in $1, $5 and $10 increments in all of their stores in six states of operation to raise funds for the prevention, education and support for victims of domestic violence and their children, sexual assault survivors, and adolescents experiencing relationship abuse.

During the 2017 campaign in Arizona, Jacksons Food Stores and its customers donated a total of $16,020 ($8,010 from customer donations and matched dollar for dollar by Jacksons).
