What I See, Hear & Live: The Role of Culture in Teen Dating Violence

February 24 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Our shared beliefs, attitudes, and traditions, also known as culture, play a significant role in human development. Add pop culture (social media, entertainment, et.), and you have a pervasive and often harmful view of intimate relationships. This has a significant impact on teens and young adults learning to navigate intimacy and learn more about themselves. Join ACESDV for an in-person training focusing on the role of culture in the lives of teens and young adults. Learn both the positive and negative impacts culture can play on their intimate relationships, and gain tools and resources from both state and national organizations.
