ACESDV is excited to announce new monthly virtual office hours for sexual assault advocates in rural communities. Meetings will be on the first Tuesday of every month from 10-11am.
During this time, we can work together to problem solve challenges, find a useful resource, ask a question, or simply just listen and learn from other advocates! We can discuss topics that range from best practices for serving rural sexual assault survivors, examine how current legislation impacts our work and ways we can affect change, analyze how oppression shows up in our work, or de-brief with the group if you need a little extra support.
In an intentional effort to enhance rural sexual violence services, this space is meant for rural sexual violence providers to discuss the unique experiences.
