This 2 part webinar will serve as an introduction to serving Native survivors of sexual violence. Attendees will:
- Identify past and current traumas that impact Native communities
- Discuss how tribal communities are addressing and responding to violence
- Understand the importance of incorporating culturally responsive services for Native survivors and
- Receive resources that may be helpful for service providers and survivors
This training is appropriate for all responders working with sexual assault victims (e.g., victim service providers, criminal justice professionals). This webinar will be available in Spanish and American Sign Language.
