Lighting Arizona Purple

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. On October 2nd, Governor Doug Ducey will light the State Capitol purple as a symbol of Arizona’s dedication to end domestic violence.

Please join us for this annual event to bring awareness to the issue of domestic violence; It can stop.

You can also join the statewide campaign by purchasing a purple lightbulb from any Home Depot location across Arizona and taking a picture of your home, business, or place of worship lit purple and posting the image to social media using #LightingAZPurple. A percentage of all purchases will go to support domestic violence prevention programs and awareness messaging.
