Lay Legal Webinar: Identifying Human Trafficking Victims’ In Your Program

March 16, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

Should trafficking services be kept separate from domestic violence and sexual assault agencies? This has been an ongoing concern as the trafficking movement gains traction. Human trafficking in most cases is a form of domestic violence with high rates of sexual assault. The reality is most agencies are already servicing this population, but maybe struggling with identification or appropriate resources. Savannah will discuss what human trafficking is, understanding the scope of work for your agency or area, as well as tips and guidelines for integration of services.
