7th Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Event – Speak, Share, Survive: A Child’s Journey

Join the City of Chandler Domestic Violence Commission for their 7th Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Event: “SPEAK, SHARE, SURVIVE: A CHILD’S JOURNEY” featuring an inspirational keynote speaker who has been impacted by domestic violence from a young age.

The Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Event will be a kick-off to the National Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. It brings local agency representatives, community partners and citizens together to raise awareness about the prevalence of domestic violence in our community and learn about the resources available. The community is invited and encouraged to attend the presentation that will be held on September 16, 2015 at the City of Chandler Community Center. Please RSVP as soon as possible to participate in the breakfast portion. Breakfast begins at 9:00AM, Program begins at 9:30 AM with an Invocation by Vice Mayor, Kevin Hartke, Location: City of Chandler Community Center, 125 E Commonwealth Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225, Speakers: Keynote Speaker – Darnell Williams, City of Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny and City of Chandler Council Members are scheduled to appear

Admission: Non perishable food items are appreciated, All donations will be given to Domestic Violence Shelters within the city of Chandler.
